At 2:07 KPD officer called in a possible structure fire at the Polish Pines.  The initial alert included Co 33, Co 38, Co 23, E39, Tr 24, Sq22 (RIT), and Amb 57.  Further reports from the scene advised fully involved and fire was already burning through the back wall.  As units arrived on scene, command requested several more engines and tankers to respond. E39, T39, and M39-70 responded to the scene.   Crews worked to keep the fire from spreading to the rest of the structure.  There were more than 30 apparatus on scene and over 120 firefighters.  Crews remained on scene for over 6 hrs before the first units were released from command.
